DataLog Finance, partner of the first EACT Summit
EACT organized in Brussels (March, 9th and 10th) the first European treasurers’ summit gathering the various European affiliated associations.
EACT is the European Association of Corporate Treasurers (21 European treasurers’ associations, such as AFTE, ATEB, ATEL etc.) Created in 2002, EACT has more than 13 000 members in more than 20 European countries. Now well established in the European treasury sphere, EACT organized its first European summit on March 9 and 10, 2017 in Brussels, in presence of DataLog Finance, only treasury software provider invited for this first edition.
The purpose of this first meeting was to discuss current issues and fundamentals related to the treasury business, both from functional, organizational and technological points of view.
Plenary sessions, thematic and interactive workshops gave rhythm to these days, led by treasurers and other professionals from the treasury world. About 120 treasurers of large groups came to share their feedback and their vision of the future on subjects such as regulation, fintechs, cybercrime or economic uncertainties.
Represented by Imad Ben Marien (CEO) and Daniel Dahan (Sales Director), DataLog Finance brought its expertise by hosting a workshop on Thursday, March 9th about “The New Payment Infrastructure and the role of Fintechs “. By their side, Martin Schlageter and Denis Reneau, from Roche treasury team, also animated the debate.
During these days, DataLog Finance talked with the European treasurers and presented their new high value-added software offerings and, on the other hand, inquired about the needs and concerns to come.
Still at the forefront of technology and with a constant concern for excellence, DataLog Finance will keep on improving the treasury technology world by considering Blockchain and Big Data as major concerns.
